Yasmin Khan brings over 30 years of development, nonprofit management, and communications experience in her role as Development Director. A child of immigrants from Pakistan and Ukraine, Yasmin puts a lifelong passion of purpose in her work on issues related to social justice, human and civil rights, and advocating for a healthy and strong democracy.  She has held senior positions at a variety of nonprofit organizations and institutions, most recently serving as Vice President of Development at FairVote, Vice President of Development at RepresentUs, Chief Development Officer at National Skills Coalition, and Chief Development Officer at Campaign Legal Center.

At several of her most recent organizations, Yasmin oversaw and helped lead rapid growth and the doubling of revenue and portfolio diversification. As a member of the executive teams, Yasmin helped advance and navigate the organizations’ overall growth, evolution, and impact. Yasmin holds a B.A. in International Relations and a M.A. in Economics and Microfinance from American University. Outside of work, Yasmin enjoys spending time with her family, music, traveling, surfing, and exploring new foods/restaurants.
