March 26: National Day of Action and Healing
The increase in anti-Asian hate crimes has been devastating for the AAPI community, but we must remain vigilant and continue to speak out against racism and all forms of hate and violence.
Please join us on Friday, March 26 for a National Virtual Day of Action and Healing and pledge to #StopAsianHate and condemn acts of racism and discrimination against Asian Americans.
On March 26, 1790, the Naturalization Act was signed into law, prohibiting non-white people from becoming citizens of the United States.
Over 200 years later, the BIPOC community is still suffering from the effects of the racism our country was founded upon. You can show your support and stand with the AAPI community by posting a statement condemning hateful attacks against AAPIs. The violence against our AAPI community must stop.
At 7:30 PM ET, join us in participating in a worldwide vigil to remember the victims of the Atlanta shooting.
We are united and resilient in the face of tragedy.
We are #AAPISTRONG.
