AALDEF testifies on Asian American voting rights before U.S. House Administration Subcommittee on Elections
AALDEF Democracy Program Director Jerry Vattamala will testify on June 24, 2021 at 10 am ET about the voting rights of Asian Americans, barriers to voting, and redistricting before the U.S. House Administration Subcommittee on Elections hearing, “Voting In America: A National Perspective On The Right To vote, Methods Of Election, Jurisdictional Boundaries, And Redistricting.
Other civil rights groups testifying before the committee include NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, and the Brennan Center.
