March 9 panel: Voting Rights in an Election Year for Communities of Color
On March 9, 2016, lawyers from AALDEF (Jerry Vattamala), Latino Justice (Joanna Cuevas-Ingram), NAACP-LDF (Natasha Korgaonkar) will speak about the challenges and issues creating barriers to the minority vote leading up to the 2016 general election. Attendees will hear about the work being done on the ground to break down those barriers, and have the opportunity to learn about ways to practically engage in the work to protect and promote voting rights.
